Finnorse and Greenhop – a powerful partnership for learning Norwegian

Finnorse and Greenhop, a specialist in Norwegian language training, have launched a collaboration designed to provide healthcare professionals with an efficient, high‑quality pathway toward working in Norway. The partnership combines Finnorse’s recruitment expertise with Greenhop’s targeted language training.

Through this cooperation, nurses are offered B2‑level Norwegian training and doctors C1‑level training, both following the CEFR framework. The program typically lasts 3–6 months and includes at least six one‑on‑one online lessons with an experienced native‑level teacher, supported by self‑paced online modules.

The course focuses on healthcare-specific vocabulary, bokmål pronunciation, real professional interaction scenarios, and job interview simulations. Teachers also share real-life insights from working in Norway, helping students understand the cultural and practical aspects of the healthcare environment.



Upon completion, participants receive an official Norwegian language certificate — a key requirement for employment in the Norwegian healthcare system. This partnership streamlines both the language-learning journey and the transition into working life in Norway, making the process clearer, faster, and more supportive for healthcare professionals
