Joy of learning in tromsø - and a legendary language slip

Our CEO Harri´s  journey to Norway began during an Erasmus exchange. He fell in love with the country’s people, culture, and nature – and after graduating as a radiographer, he decided to return, this time to Tromsø.

Learning Norwegian was part of the adventure. And sometimes it led to funny misunderstandings. For example, in Norwegian the word nakke means neck, while naken means naked. Once he told a patient: “We’ll take a naked picture of you” – when he really meant a neck X-ray! 😅 This joke spread quickly around the hospital.

Why Harri stayed in Norway? Better salary, positive work atmosphere, respect, and a lifestyle close to nature. These things made Tromsø not just a workplace, but a home.
